County of Orange RACES

OCRACES is making final preparations for supporting the 2008 Baker to Las Vegas Challenge Cup Relay. We are preparing our APRS beacon boxes for deployment and confirming our plans for the Pahrump Command Post. We are supporting three OCSD teams, two OCDA teams, the California Department of Insurance Investigators, and the State of Arizona District Attorney's team. Beacon boxes will be installed in most vehicles on Thursday afternoon, April 17th, at 840 N. Eckhoff Street, in Orange. A few installations may be necessary in Baker on Saturday morning, April 19th.
